Tessa Mary

Today is Tessa's 8th birthday.
She was our 16th grandchild and 7th granddaughter.
She's a very important part of this large family
And an even more important part of this smaller family.
Here is Tessa 'through the years'.

But these pictures only tell you how she looks and how she's changed 'through the years'.  What they don't show is what a fun-loving,
creative,
loving,.
and sweet, cheerful girl she is.
A couple of weeks ago we celebrated Tessa's birthday here in Indiana with her best friend/cousin, Mary.
I still wish we could be there with her on her special day but since we can't, we're wishing her a happy, wonderful birthday and a year filled with friends, organizing (which she excels at), and dance!
Happy Birthday, Tessa!

Dane Robert

Today is Dane's 4th birthday.  He's our 2nd great grandchild AND second great grandson.
Dane is an important part of this large family,
and an important part of this smaller family,
and an even more important part of this even smaller (but large) family.
Here is Dane 'through the years'.  These pictures were taken approximately every six months.

As you can see, Dane is an adorable child.  But what the pictures don't show is that he's incredibly loving, lovable, and sweet.
He has great respect and awe for the military,
he is very athletic and can play any sport,
and he's a role player like no other.

We were lucky enough to have Dane and his wonderful family here for the weekend and as always, it filled my heart with love and happiness.  And we got to sing happy birthday to him and have a little party.   It doesn't get much better than that.  So we're wishing this wonderful boy a very, very happy birthday and a wonderful year ahead.  Happy Birthday, Dane!  We love you.

Tracy Allen

Today is our son-in-law, Tracy's, birthday.
Tracy is an important part of this large family.
An even more important part of this smaller family.
And more important yet member of this even smaller family.
And, here is Tracy 'through the years'.

But there's a lot more about Tracy than just his good looks.  He's very innovative which is proven by the fact that he built a little golf course on his property last year.

He's a devoted husband and stepfather.

 Oh, and grandfather!
He's valiantly trying to recover from a debilitating foot injury after falling from a roof at work last winter.
And he's a fun-loving, helpful, loving, and much loved addition to our family.
So, Tracy, we're wishing you the happiest of birthdays and a year better than any you've enjoyed so far but not nearly as great as the many more to come!
